The award-winning, recommended, certified textile based bike lock
The patented construction of the tex-lock bicycle locks is unique. Each layer of the textile compound fulfills a very specific function and thus protects against attacks with bolt cutters, fire or saws.
Special combined high-tech fibers protect against tools such as bolt cutters.
The tex-lock 2.0 has a metal core with high saw resistance.
A textile sheathing resists flames over 1000 degrees Celsius.
The tex-lock underlines the style of the bike - finally no more steel monotony!

The minds behind Tex-Lock are bike fans with body & soul, and product developers with passion & devotion. Equipped with textile know-how and dissatisfied with existing bicycle lock solutions, founders Alexandra Baum and Suse Brand developed the idea for Tex—Lock. Since the two women from Leipzig, Germany, travel a lot by bicycle, they experienced the frustration of having to ride around with a clattering, unwieldy metal bicycle lock. The bright idea was to make a bicycle lock out of textile. Tex-Lock is based and manufactured in Leipzig, Germany with the highest of German standards and expertise.
All products of the eyelet series are certified according to ART*2 anti-theft criteria.
After I caught a thief disassembling the combination lock on an inexpensive cable lock I had been using, I resolved to get a serious lock. Weight wasn’t an issue, because I’d be using it with my car. I came across the Osloh design and was intrigued by both the heft of the cord as well as the soft material where it would be in contact with my bikes. I’m on a trip right now with it and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I bought the medium length. Perfect length so far. This thing is pure pleasure to use. Maybe weird but totally true. I’ve never felt like this about a bike lock, haha. SO much more flexible and easier to use than my ABUS folding lock. Also, SO much lighter and easier to deal with than my heavy KRYPTONITE chain lock. And, finally and obviously, more versatile than any kind of u-lock. So now, for my higher security needs, I’m using it at a bike rack and pairing it (as a secondary lock) with a Kryptonite u-lock. But when I’m in a lower security situation I just use this ( alone) around whatever is available. Either way, it’s such a pleasure to use! I Wear it cross body very comfortably when biking or pop it in a pannier. I’m so happy this was invented.
