It consists of a composite of different layers of textile fibers. Each layer fulfils a special function and protects your bike from theft with bolt cutters, fire or saws. The soft surface of the tex-lock also protects your bike from scratches and your ears from rattling.

Heavy duty lock
The fabric is soft so it won’t scratch the bike. Very flexible so it wraps around the seat post easily. It is heavy and thick though so keep that in mind. But that does make it feel really tough. And I think it would be intimidating to a thief.
